What is an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC)?
An Outpatient Mental Health Center is a licensed behavioral health program that provides regularly scheduled mental health treatment in a community setting. Maryland regulations require an OMHC to provide, at minimum, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and medication management, with multidisciplinary clinical treatment staff and medical oversight.
