Behavioral Health Programs Built Around Treatment, Recovery, Function, and Independence
Different needs require different kinds of support. At HelpStar Behavioral Health, we understand that recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Our programs match each person's clinical needs, functional challenges, and recovery goals.
Need Help Choosing?
Our intake team can help explain the difference between treatment, rehabilitation, substance use care, and employment services.
Call +1 (240) 887-4005Symptoms may affect mood, thinking, relationships, housing, self-care, school, employment, transportation, medication routines, decision-making, and the ability to participate fully in community life. Our programs are designed to address different parts of that recovery process.
A person may participate in more than one service when clinically appropriate, medically necessary, permitted by program rules, and properly coordinated. Our Outpatient Mental Health Center provides clinical mental health treatment such as psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy. Our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs help eligible adults, children, and adolescents strengthen practical functioning and community-living skills. Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides structured treatment for individuals who need a higher level of substance use care while remaining in the community. Our Supported Employment Program focuses on helping eligible individuals pursue and maintain competitive integrated employment.
